How Deep the Father's Love for Us
see related
well, i am officially an old woman now... i just had the blessed day last thursday, may 11th... i am now 22 years old!!! i can't believe how time has flown by and am just amazed more and more by the goodness of our God and Savior...

i was blessed to just spend the day with the ones i love... i woke up early and had orange juice with my friend brandy, who just blesses my heart! my roommates then decorated my bed with amazing green balloons... and brandy took me to a "special place" where i was able to see big pictures of the ones i love over in hungary... ah, i miss them...

anyway, my mom and cousin sandy came down later in the day and took me and my friends jacqui, brandy and jasmine down to san diego to eat dinner at the cheesecake factory... it truly was AMAZING! and i praise the Lord for giving me life...

enjoy the pictures... be blessed... receive my love in the Lord!

i woke up nice and early to head over to brandy's pad to have orange juice and this is what i saw... the fog was low and was AMAZING to start the day with.... i love this weather, and outside my door, here at this view, is absolutely gorgeous...

i am loved by my roommates... and i love them

ah, over at brandy's i was congratulated!!! i guess it was for turning another year older..? it blessed me either way... happy birthday day!

oh my little brandy... i was so blessed to have fresh squeezed orange juice with her - it was AMAZING....

she got me a beautiful green bag, and even decorated my orange juice cup green

i sure do love green... and my roommates sure know that! they decorated my bed with green!

throughout the day i just had fun with those around school... here is little jazzy jazz jazz (jasmine) and i... oh look - she is in green!

and brandy is in green too... i couldn't stop smiling! not only because they were wearing green though (although it did help)...

oh my dani boy... i just love her!! she took me to red robin for lunch... she is a blessing from the Lord...

then my ma came down and my cousin sandy (who is in the front seat with me) and we got ready to go down south to eat some yum yum...

here is jazz, me, brandy and my mom waiting on a bench to get to eatin some grub..

it didn't take long to get seated either (at least i don't think it did)... i love this picture because brandy, mom and jacqui were really laughing... and we on the other side were just posers...

we started with the big appetizer - it was AMAZING!

cheers and praise to God for the wonderful food!!!

i was pretty much in heaven (well close to it i'm sure) with the food... i can't wait to banquet with the Lord! i just love to eat, what can i say.. i got to eat some spicy cashew chicken - yep, you guessed it, it was AMAZING

oh, birthday wish...

with all the food, fun, excitement and sugar, though, i could not contain myself...

and i pretty much had to smear whip cream on those i could reach... brandy and jasmine were pretty much casualties...

from beginning to end, i was exceedingly blessed! God is so good!

Anything Worth Saying

well, it's been a while since the last update... the semester has been quickly creeping by... mid-terms have made my heart ache... but i know God is shining over the mountain... school has been a test for me this semester, a daily surrender to Him and His way in me...

anyway, i pray you all are doing well... be blessed with these beautiful pictures of Big Bear, CA... my mom took me snowboarding three weeks ago after one weekend of fresh snow... the sun was shining and the slopes were amazing... enjoy...

here is the beautiful mountaintop as we road up...

some of the great jumps on the mountain...

my little cousin (even though she is a lot taller than me) and me with the beautiful mountain in the background... i taught her the basics to boarding that day...

my mom, brother and i in the nice sunshine...

and finally, my bro and i...

i hope to write again soon...

"i love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore i will call upone Him as long as i live." - Psalm 116:1-2

well here are a few more pics... we just had our student banquet and these are they...

the table... left to right... kacy, brandy, john, jenny, danielle, and me

us hungary girls... jeanette, me and felicity

the staff served us dinner and dessert... here is good ol' rod

ah, it's jazzy jazz jasmine and me

precious little brandy and me... i am blessed to have her as my m199 supervisor

us girls... dani, kacy, me and jenny... and some random guy who kinda ruined the picture

and of course, what a blessed last banquet it was having all but two of my first semester roommates with me.... me, kacy, crazy jacqui trying to eat her knee or something, dani and bethany

oh, and this is a random picture of my arm... i had to get a TB test done (so that is the little red dot you see)... i am doing community service at an old folk's home and needed to get it... i cried, but dani was there to help me...

please just continue to pray for this semester and my heart to be right... i need my attitude to change and for the Lord to kick me in the butt... i pray you all the best... be blessed today!

szeretlek teged!

southern cali is pretty... nice weather and all...

here i am doing my servanthood - i help Brandy in the office (cleaning, making signs, etc.)...

dani and i went to beach day at la jolla beach... it was absolutely freezing! but i got to read a book and have pb & j sandwich... fun, fun...

becca and i (i met her on beach day, gave her a ride back to the school) eating ice cream at our first 'ice cream social' of the semester...

having fun dress up time in target... jenny, kacy, jacqui and i trying on the cool green dresses

ah, and for valentines day (night actually) i was healed from the migraine i had for two days and was able to go with the gang for 'date night'... actually, it was pretend, but it was amazingly fun! the guys bought dessert for all us girls, and we went out to claim jumpers... it was SO much fun!

oh yum, we had the cookie sandwich... really big and really good...

well, hope to update again soon... hope this finds you doing well and resting in the Lord... life's crazy, but He has the whole world in His hands and has everything under control... love ya!

Redemption

so the first week back at bible college has come and gone... i am still praying for God to change my heart and i know that He is... the classes i am taking are: History of Redemption (going through every book of the bible and seeing the redemption of Jesus Christ through them); Ruth, Esther and the Song of Solomon; Church History; Community Service (going to an old folks home once a week); Graduation Class (which is titled 'Theology'); Friday Lectures.... hmmm.... and that's about it.... and my M199 (servanthood) is helping out in the office, being Brandy's assistant (she is Dave Shirley's secratary)... i am blessed with my M199, officially being golf cart certified!!! it has been fun...

chuck smith came friday and spoke for Friday Lectures... he shared of the women at the well who was asked for a drink from Jesus... he shared on the love of Christ and the importance of having the spiritual need of love met and not only the physical or emotional love met through day to day... Jesus loves us SO much! and then i realized that that will be the resounding message taught me this semester... all of my classes will bring me a deeper understanding of God's redemptive love, through Christ Jesus; His providential love; and His agape love... so i am excited to get to know more about that

oh, and i almost forgot... every wednesday night i will be attending a home fellowship group at the thompson residence... phil will be in murrieta on monday and tuesday - so exciting - and that will be awesome...

i just came back to vegas today to surprise my daddy and go to the 'daddy, daughter breakfast' that was held at our church... i have been blessed today to be in the arms of not only my heavenly father, but my gracious and faithful earthly father...

so that is how i am posting this quick, but long, update... i have to figure out how to update this site... the school has it blocked from accessing... so i need to get the kinks worked out... but hopefully i will be able to post pics soon...

i pray this time for you all will be a time of refreshment in the Lord, wherever you may be... trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and He will make your path straight! even when we don't necessarily see it or understand, God is working for us an eternal weight of glory... let Him shine through you and may your countenance be lifted... God bless...
